Watch Wales v Argentina from anywhere

You don’t need to worry about missing any of today‘s rugby action, even if you’re travelling overseas. By using a VPN (or Virtual Private Network), you can avoid the geo-blocking restrictions that might otherwise get in the way of watching your usual streamers when you’re in another country.

This is because VPNs have the useful ability to change your IP address, making your laptop, smartphone or tablet appear to be back home. This means you can tune into the big match, even when you’re thousands of miles away from your sitting room. A good VPN has the added benefit of improving your online security, which is great news if you’re browsing from an unfamiliar hotel or bar.

There are plenty of VPNs out there, but the tech experts at TechRadar and Tom’s Guide both believe that NordVPN is top of the world rankings, thanks to its top-notch streaming and security features. Not convinced? You also get a 30-day money-back guarantee, and a great deal this Black Friday…

Wales v Argentina match preview

It’s good news it’s the start of a new era at the Principality Stadium, because Welsh fans are glad to see the back of the last one. While July’s 31-22 victory over Japan (next week’s visitors to Cardiff) ended a record-breaking run of 18 defeats, the last two years have been dark times for Welsh rugby, with two Six Nations Wooden Spoons, and a seemingly unstoppable tumble down the world rankings.

And so new team boss Steve Tandy is the latest to step into the role of great redeemer, the former Scotland defence coach tasked with restoring some pride to the red jersey. He’s kept faith with many of the players selected by interim coach Matt Sherratt (now on the staff as attack coach), but will be delighted to welcome back Wales’ two-man British & Irish Lions contingent (Tomos Williams and captain Jac Morgan), and Louis Rees-Zammit, who starts on the bench after his adventure in American football.

If there’s going to be a party in Cardiff, however, Wales will have to stop Argentina. The Pumas came out on top last time the teams met in the 2023 World Cup quarter-finals, and are hot favourites today. Fourth place in the Rugby Championship doesn’t tell the full story of a tournament in which they were extremely competitive and scored wins over both Australia and New Zealand. Wales will need to reawaken the spirit of the first Warren Gatland era if they’re going to bring victory back to the Principality Stadium.
