Watch Scotland v Argentina from anywhere

Being overseas this weekend doesn’t mean you have to miss a second of the Autumn Internationals action. By bringing a VPN (or Virtual Private Network) into play, you can avoid the geo-blocking restrictions that might otherwise get in the way of watching your usual streamers when you’re in another country.

This isn’t witchcraft. Instead it’s the result of a VPN’s useful ability to change your IP address, making your laptop, smartphone or tablet appear to be back home. This means you can tune into the game, even when you’re thousands of miles away from your sitting room. A good VPN also comes with the added benefit of improving your online security, which is great news if you’re browsing from an unfamiliar hotel or bar.

There are plenty of VPNs out there, but the tech experts at TechRadar and Tom’s Guide both believe that NordVPN is top of the world rankings, thanks to its top-notch streaming and security features. Still not convinced? You also get a 30-day money-back guarantee, and a great deal this Black Friday…

Scotland v Argentina match preview

This is one of the hardest of the weekend’s Quilter Nations Series matches to call. Just two places separate sixth-placed Argentina from eighth-placed Scotland, with both sides heading into the match on a high – albeit of very different kinds.

Argentina comprehensively outclassed Wales in a 52-28 win at the Principality Stadium last weekend, while Scotland came heartbreakingly close to securing a first ever victory over the All Blacks. Whichever way it goes, it doesn’t feel like there’ll be much to choose between the sides at Murrayfield.

Unsurprisingly, Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has largely kept faith with the team that was in contention until the closing minutes against New Zealand, the only change to the XV being Rory Darge replacing Matt Fagerson at openside flanker. He’s also opted for a 5-3 split on the bench, with Duhan van der Merwe returning to the 23. Darcy Graham wins his 50th cap on the wing.

Townsend’s opposite number Felipe Contepomi clearly didn’t get the memo about not changing a winning side. He’s made five changes to his starting line-up, with Juan Cruz Mallia, Rodrigo Isgro, Matias Moroni, Santiago Grodona and Pedro Rubilolo all coming into the XV.
